In November 2024, Strong Cities launched a four-part webinar series, An Introduction to City-Led Prevention of Hate and Targeted Violence, to explore how local governments in the United States and Canada can play a stronger role in addressing hate and targeted violence — especially amid global crises that can strain local community cohesion. The series draws on Strong Cities’ pilot work to develop local prevention frameworks in five small- and mid-sized U.S. cities.

Each 60-minute session pairs a subject matter expert with a city practitioner to spotlight real-world implementation. While designed to build on one another, the sessions can be viewed individually or out of sequence, offering flexible entry points for viewers with specific interests.

For more information on this webinar series, please email us.

This project is funded by the DHS Center for Prevention Programs and Partnerships, opportunity number  DHS-23-TTP-132-00-01.
